U.S. Broadband Awards FAQs

The deadline for submissions is September 1 11:59pm ET.

The shortlist will be announced on Tuesday, October 3.

The winners will be announced at the U.S. Broadband Summit Awards Ceremony on Thursday, November 16 during the U.S Broadband Summit event taking place November 15-17 in Washington, DC.

The following categories cost $599 to enter: 

• Best Broadband & Data mapping solution or initiative
• Best Municipal Connectivity program
• Best use of 5G FWA for Remote/Rural Connectivity
• Excellence in FTTH Deployment
• Open Infrastructure & Networking Award
• Public Services Deployment
• Enabling Connectivity - Middle Mile award
• Excellence in Wireless Neutral Host Networks
• Excellence in Satellite Connectivity
• Best Converged Solution - Cable & Connectivity

The following categories cost $299 to enter: 

• Innovation in State Broadband Deployment Award
• Impact Award - Greatest Technical Achievement in Connecting the Unconnected (individual)
• Regional Fiber Operator of the Year
• Regional Wireless Operator of the Year
• Impact in Broadband Affordability

Yes, you can apply to multiple categories, but you must make a separate submission for each.

You can pay for your entry using a credit card at the time of submission. Submissions must be paid for by the deadline in order to be reviewed by judges.

It is mandatory for your entry to include your contact details, company name, website, overview, and company logo. If you are an agency filing on behalf of a client, please note both parties in the application. You are also encouraged to submit supplementary information to make your entry stand out!

Please provide the following formats only for company logos: eps, jpg, png, or psd. For other supporting information, we accept PDFs, video attachments may be hosted on a video site such as YouTube or Vimeo, and website URLs to the publicly accessible campaign or the active URL of a landing page.
